Style Spotting: Manish Malhotra Fashion Show

Recent Fashion Show  by Manish Malhotra got the best of Bollywood on run-way as usual. The outfits looked fabulous , it mainly focused on sexy nets sarees and multi layered lehnga, a signature Manish Malhotra style! Voylla brings you the four best looks from this show. Our only gripe was lack of accessories on these models. So our in-house team got to the task, and put together a set of accessories  that can complement and complete the look.

Starting with the very pretty Dia Mirza. Dia can make any look work for her. With that pretty face and her sense of style she nails her apprearance perfectly . She wore a white anarkali with thick mustard yellow border. Side swept hair completed the look. We at Voylla think addition of tear drop jhumkis would have taken this look to a whole new level . A traditional potli could have given just the right finishing touch to the over all look, what do you think?

The super stylish Neha Dhupia opted for a bright  lehnga, with yellow chunni and cream top. The thick border of lehnga created a beautiful fall and the  golden dori added bling. Kundan look ear-rings based on traditional motifs like peacock or paisley would have done magic for this look. A small box clutch  in matching red or dull-gold would be our next addition to this look!

Amisha patel, the pretty lady in pink looked amazing in the show. We love the pink saree with navy blue border. The neckline of the blouse seems so incomplete without a statement neck piece though . A pearl set and a bracelet would have made this look so put-together. Addition of small tear-drop jhumkis and a chain with small pendant would have enhanced the softness of the look. what do you think?

Sophie's look on the other hand was very chic, very modern. Only some-one with caliber of MM can create such a modern twist to something as traditional as an Anarkali. The  outfit resonates so well Sophie's personality! We would have definitely added modern accessories to stay in tune with the overall statement the look is making. A wired meshed dangler and a matching pendant would be our choice of accessories to go with this look.

The show was fab &  hit. From the pictures we have of celebs who came to see the show, it looked like the " IT " event of the fashion and bollywood industry! In the candid avatar also Dia Mirza's look seems to be the best.Absolutely loving the overalls .We would love to hear your opinion!
