Star-studded affair- Masaba Gupta’s Wedding Reception

The country’s most buoyant fashion designer tied the knot with the co-founder of Phantom films, Madhu Mantena last Sunday. Needless to say, their wedding was a grand affair. All the who’s who of the tinsel town attended the function. The bride’s friends, Neha Dhupia and Sonam Kapoor kept posting about the wedding on Instagram. The duo’s friends from Bollywood, Athiya Shetty, Alia Bhatt, Dia Mirza, Anurag Kashyap, Shahi Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Aditi Rao Hydari and Mandira Bedi were spotted at the function. The wedding reception was no less than a scene from a Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie.

On her reception, Masaba chose to wear a zooty black and white cream cape-style Anamika Khanna lehenga. She teamed it up an intricate gold kundan choker. We didn’t quite like the attire and then, later Masaba posted on social media criticizing her own ensemble. It takes guts to self-criticize and she is still the most eccentric designer we know!

Sonam Kapoor

Masaba’s quirkiness goes with Sonam’s eccentricity. No wonder they are very close buddies. Sonam Kapoor looked splendid in Anamika Khanna lehenga. Straight hair and makeup completed the look.

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt wore a stunning patta-patti sharara and accessorised it with head-turning chand balis. Her hairstyle made her look prettier and younger.

Neha Dhupia

Neha Dhupia wore navy blue and black lehenga and had a banjara look to it. The only accessory that she wore and made her stand out was a silver neckpiece from Jaipur based store.

Mandira Bedi

Mandira Bedi was seen carrying her trademark sari in her impeccable style. She also wore a grey beaded neckpiece to complete the outfit.

Kangana Ranaut

Elegant, Classy and Sassy! Voila! We are talking about the fashion diva Kangana Ranaut. She chose to flaunt a white net sari with a heavy blouse. She decided to wear a smile (plus THE Red Lipstick!) and no accessories.
