Voylla Takes Another Step Towards Women Empowerment
Empower a woman and you empower a family!
This Mother's Day, Voylla decided to make the women in Pink City empowered by giving them access to free health check ups and making them aware of their rights given by the Constitution. It was appalling to know that 85% of the women knew nothing about Breast Cancer symptoms and the schemes that they can avail from the Government. Special deposit schemes like Sukanya Samriddhi Account was also discussed to encourage the birth of a girl child and the discussion further went to the sacrosanct role played by a woman in the society.
Renowned doctors from the city visited to discuss about menstruation, regular vaccines and malnutrition, among others. The women were also given a chance to have a one on one conversation with the gynecologists present there. Apart from the CSR events, Voylla has always been proactive in working towards the empowerment of women. In fact, last year it introduced a whole line called Studio Voylla dedicated to the women wherein each jewelry piece is handcrafted by the rural women artisans of the country.
